My favorite affordable sushi spot in the area! My go-tos are the spicy baked mussels, thom kha soup, and all of their sushi is good. I've been here multiple times they are consistently delicious

So, everything that I read is true. It sadly appears that there was a change of ownership since my last visit. Maybe it was a staff change. All I know is the people that I remember are no longer there. I hope they are doing well.
The service was still good. The young lady at the counter was very nice and I didn't have to wait too long for my takeout order. There was only one other person picking up a takeout order in the restaurant at around 5:30 on a Saturday.
I ordered the sweet & sour shrimp for my mother and the pho with veggies for myself. I've had their pho before, but it was different this time. Before I had the brisket, meatball, and chicken. I remember it being a light colored broth that was very tasty. This time it was a dark brown color. The flavor of this one had more of a cinnamon taste to it. It was also saltier than what I've had before at this restaurant. The rest of the flavors were there, but I didn't have the same comforting feeling that I usually get with pho. There was a generous portion of veggies and I liked the inclusion of scallions, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, and those little baby corn things. I was a little disappointed that the Thai basil leaves weren't as fresh as what I had recently at another restaurant in the area. Everything else was very fresh. Mom thought the sweet & sour shrimp was good, but not quite as good as it was before. I don't know what happened. I can say that it's still very affordable. That hasn't changed. I'll still go back every now & then to try other menu items. They may have different specialties so I just have to find out what it is that they do best. I'll update my review if anything else changes. As of now, it's A-OK. -

I ordered the Panang Curry lunch special which comes with white rice and a soup. You have the choice of any meat for the curry and either chicken rice or miso for the soup.
Veggies were cooked perfectly- just the right kind of crunchy. The basil leaves gave a great taste to the dish.
Spice level was perfect for what I chose.
The miso was also just right! Miso is supposed to be very mild tasting and lots of restaurants make it flavorless, but the flavor was on point. Even the bits of tofu were perfectly square and flavorful.
Great price for a lunch portion too! -

Just come here. It was delicious.
Their Pad Thai is spot on! And they ask you how spicy you want it (im not big on spicy so I asked for mild). I ate in, I was starving after a workout at the Y and scarfed down every noodle and scrap from my meal.
For $10-$11 you get really great portions! The sauce was saucy, not runny and not too thick, the chicken was great too! I really wish this place was closer to where I lived, but now I know a good post-workout place.
Ok, so this is not the place for most, I love "holes in the wall" type of restaurants, and this place is clean, small, has open bathroom, and fast. I ended up getting their house special to go (pad em bew (?), I'm really not sure how to spell it).
I could have split each meal twice to have leftovers for a couple days, but I couldn't resist eating it in one sitting (house special take out was eaten the next day, I wasn't that hungry!).
If you're in town, looking for some Thai food to hit the spot, don't hesitate to come here, good prices for great food, just don't bring a family larger than 4 if you're dining in. There's only so much seating, maybe a total of 15 people can sit here. -

This restaurant changed ownership about 4 months ago. I wasn't aware, I ordered what I typically order. Portions are smaller, food is terrible and the wait is longer than usual. I no longer recommend this place.
